Exclamation help fast

im taking out air and egr. i got the pump out but i see something is literally peeling my paint off to the metal. its all over. i nneed to iknow how to take the fuse box on the drivers side off well or atleast get teh wires that lead to it out of the way so i can wipe this clean and get something on the metal.

I wouldn't mess with the wires unless you know what you're doing. Just take the fuse box out of the metal tabs on the radiator support that hold it in place, and move it as far to the side as possible. Wrap up the wires, fuse box, etc. with newspaper, sand down the spots that you need to paint, clean up the dust, and paint.

Yup, sounds like brake fluid to me too, Do what CRL 01 SS Said, use the clips and move it out the way

Brake fluid is horrible on paint. You should see the tranny tunnel beside the bleeder for my clutch! It looks like someone finger-painted the bitch.

K&N filter cleaner, although seemingly harmless, WILL remove paint. I thought it was a mild degreaser, so I squirted a bit on the underside of my hood and hit it with a soft brush to remove some gunk. Next thing I knew the brush was red and I was seeing primer!
