Default Vig 3200 just installed

got the 3200 installed last night, as well as a b&m cooler. the car really moves now. I havent got on it from a dig yet...but i raced my friends ss m6 from about a 30mph roll twice, and my car pulls hard as hell. feels likes a diff car. also once the tc locks up at 45mph you wouldnt even know the car has a stall in it.

Excellent!
Of coarse now you'll have to re-learn how to launch your car.
Have fun!

It's a great converter that's been around for a while. I only hear good things about them.

I got one installed a few weeks ago and love it. I just need to practice my launch some more. But it does make it feel like a new car.

Just talked to the guy at Thunder Racing he said the Vig 3200 was a damn good street converter and got him a high 11s(said he cut 1.59 60s) with bolt ons.He said it has a Str of 2.5 but holds up good up top and doesnt drop off. They have a package that comes with the trans go kit for $799. I was gonna get a Fuddle but Im starting to lean towards the Vig. My question is how high does the Vig3200 stall when your about to launch off the line.(does it break to 3200 or flash to 3200 on take off,I think he told me it goes up to about 2500 breaking it). Also do you feel you have more pull from a roll with this converter. Are you guys happy with the 3200 or think you should of went with a 3600.

From what i've read the Vig 3200 in our cars stalls a bit higher, maybe 3600ish?

And yes that is the flash stall rating, brake stalling will be different (and usually lower).

when your brake stalling off the line, it will get up to about 2500-2600 before the tires spin. also from a roll you do pull more because it shoots your rpms up to about 4800 (in your power band). I just cant wait to put my cam in and get the car tuned.

Are you gonna keep the 3200 stall or have it restalled. I thinking of going with a cam too, talked to the guy at Thunder about it. I wanna get the stall and cam done at the same time to match each other he recommended a tr224 cam,but I wonder if the 3200 will be good enough or should I go with the 3600stall?

nothing wrong with going bigger than a 3200... nobody should get anything less than a 3200, it would be a complete waste of money. I have a 3200 stall and i love it. If i could.. i would have bought a bigger stall if i would have known how driveable stalls are, but then again... i got a good *** deal on the 3200.
