Default Whats cheaper?

Buying a forged shortblocked assembled and blueprinted...

or buying the bottom end parts minus the crank and getting it put together at a local machine shop? Im not too sure on everything Id have to get done to the motor while its out other than new seals and cleaning up the block, so i want anticipate everything im going to have to pay for now.

Whats less of a headache? Probably having someone build it... Also consider what your time is worth..

Buying a shortblock built and blueprinted.
You can find blocks forged for $2800 outright.
