Not doing it in the first place? =P

But seriously, you would just need somethign that would disolve the rubber of your tires. Though that same stuff would probably damage the conrete/pavement underneath it as well...

Trying to cover up doing a burnout in your driveway?

Well to help prevent it, take car wax and add alot around the lower rear bumper/fender area and dont wipe it off. Just apply alot of it and then after the rubber gets onto it, it will wipe off easyer.

This is what all the drag racers do, and alot of people do that.

Try bug N tar remover..

use lacquer (sp?) thinner....it will take it off pretty good...it'll leave your paint kinda hazey looking, so just take some wax or compound if you have any and shine it back up...that's what i use at work when cars are covered in road tar or rubber

Wd-40 and a rag is what I use. I just rewax it when I'm done. I wouldn't use thinner. If you use it alot you'll eventually take the clear/paint off. Wax wont cover that up.

I use pledge furniture polish, spray it on and after I'm done racing, it easily whipes right off and it doesn't hurt the paint all...plus it smells lemony fresh!!

Is it really that bad? I just knock off the big pieces with my fingers then wash it up good with lots of soap and it always comes off. I have over 160 runs on the car so I do this often! To prevent it I've heard using Pam cooking spray or baby oil works well. There's also Geddex Burnout guard you can buy. I haven't tried any of these yet.

acually i had a bottle of rain x foam window cleaner in the garage that i sprayed on my rubber and let i soak for a bit and it seems to just feel off easy maybe its because i had like 3 coats of wax on the car before i went to the strip lol but i think its just the foam ability

lol peanut butter? hmmmm

lil trick i saw one day. some guy takes plastic wrap, the kind to cover food, and places that on his rear panels. at the end of the night he just peels it off

good thing about that is it doesnt leave a sticky residue, and no need to wax and re wax and rewax all the time

I just removed some the other day with Turtle Wax's bug and tar pre-wash gel........the stuff worked a hell of a lot better then I expected. Give it a try, it's only like $5 for the bottle. Just spray it on, let it sit for about 5 minutes then wash your car as normal.
