Default Muwaha! Its Alvie! Its Alive!

FINALLY after 10 months of sitting on jack stands, my car once again lives! I would like to thank everyone for their help in helping me decide what short block to go with, and Texas Speed for building me an awesome forged 347, magic stick 3, and supplying me with amazing heads.

Here is a short clip of the first start up. More videos to come.

I am hoping for atleast 440rwhp, aiming for 450. I gotta take it to East Side soon to get it tuned. I had the car tuned last year when I just had the FM14 cam so the car runs pretty good now, but still need to retune it.

congrats on getting it running, I know how that feels after all the hard work and trial and errors.

I started laughing at all the smoke ur engine was putting out...buring all the assembly lube grease, oil and whatnot. I remember mine doing that but it was at least twice as worse. There was a guy in the garage when I first started it up, he'd never been around a for something like that. as soon as it started smoking he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off looking for the fire screaming "SHUT IT OFF!!!! SHUT IT OFF!!!!!!!" LOL

Congrats on the start up. It's a great feeling turning the key and bringing your car to life with everything running properly. It makes all the hard work worth every minute.

Nick,
Car sounds awesome. Was wondering when you were gonna get a chance to fire that bad boy up. Hope everything runs as smoothly as it sounds. Nice paint work too...

Sounds great!! It must've been a real thrill to hear it run after such a long period of hibernation.
