Oil pressure?

Oil pressure? My friends car was going around a corner and he shifted into second and gave it gas and the car died. The oil pressure shot all the way up to past 80 and the car wouldn't start back up, it turns over but won't start. we replaced the #6 cylinder pushrod yesterday but it ran fine until then. Any ideas?

There were no strange noises or anything it just shut down. We checked with a code reader and it said every coil was malfunctioning. but i don't know how that would affect the oil pressure?
