I've seen a few bone stock 01-04 zo6's pull on pullied cobras. But i have also seen a few pullied cobras put a car or two on stock zo6's. Its all about the driver on those races. He probably has about 100rwhp more then u. But the zo6 makes up for it in weight, gearing and all that good stuff.

thats exactly what we figured. I got some less weight but dunno if it makes up for a little over 100hp difference

Just matters who makes power and where in a Roll race, or RPM race as I like to call them..

Well you probably weigh 500 lbs and have better gearing. That should make up for a lot of it. Not to mention aerodynamics and the difference a driver can make.

That would be my Cobra. Nice runs! Could you send me the videos please? If you have them let me know and I will PM you my email address.

Btw, I weighed my car on Saturday night. 3,660 without me in it. So yes, you have the weight advantage and I have the power advantage. Not sure who has the traction advantage....I got some wheel hop in the first race....and shifted early in the last race to avoid it.

Lol, well we bought our Z06 used so we dont know if it has a mild cam or not we suspect it does. My Cobra has upper and lower pulley, tune, ported blower, catback, x pipe and k&n fipk and our Vette still manages to pull it. Last time we raced the Cobra started pulling at the top of 4th but with the mods on the Cobra it shouldnt be close. All the Vette has that we know of is exhaust (no mufflers) and the zip tie mod. Im getting my maf and new tune on the Cobra so hopefully it helps and I may get a hold of Amazon for a new tune on the Cobra so we'll see. But I dont know, its crazy because our Vette also pulled another pullied, ported Cobra. I guess we wont know until we dyno it. But nice run.

Quick, When I got my Cobra and raced my SS, they were pretty close. Cobra had boltons w/2.8 and tune vs. H/C SS. When I ported the blower, I freakin lost...3 times WTF. THEN, I got a good tune, and it waked up big time, and that was a Kenne Bell tune, then I got the amazon tune. WOW, that man can tune a Cobra. I will only go to Amazon. FYI.

My 99 SS had a TSP 233/239 600/605 V2 cam, Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads, LS6 intake, ASP pulley, Pace setter LT's and it was maybe 1-1.5 cars through the quarter faster and from a roll, who ever screwed up shifting lost. Thats how close it can be if your tunes are good.

Man every cobra/zo6 race makes it that much harder to decide.

Once I graduate, its between a Z06 and the Cobra. I can't decide.

I am still leaning toward the Vette.

The Z is a better overall car, obviously.

The Cobra is cheaper and easier to mod.

Yup, and the Cobra is easier to blow up if you dont keep and eye on your tunes. BOOM.
