Difficulty and time????
How hard is it to drop and replace a tranny? Also about how long would it take I will have myself and probably one other person. If you guys could help me out with this I would be greatful. Thanks

Thats half the fun though.
I installed my TH400 by myself (ok I got the boy outta bed to help balance things) in about an hour.
I have gotten good at this though, thanks to many trans swaps.
Start to finish with a 60E taking your time to do things right if its your first time should be about 6 hours.
We once changed a powerglide in a 67 Nova in 20 minutes......3 guys with air tools.
Thats old trans out and new one in with DS, just had to hook up the linkage.

It depends on the murphy factor (Murphys Law). If you dont run into any problems you could do it in 1-2 days easy even by yourself and no lift, but...
If you run into major problems (like I did) you could find yourself fighting a god-damn TC bolt for 2 days.
