Well when I bought my camaro back around December the guy that had it before hand wasn't very nice to it so which entailed a lot of work for me. Anyways, the front right door speaker was blown, so I replaced that with the factory replacement. My driver side sail panel speaker just doesn't work period, I don't know if its blown or just dead, I took it out and plugged it into my passenger side and it still didn't work. I took my passenger side and pluged into my driver and it didn't work their either (The passenger side was working before I did this..), and now passenger original doesn't work now that I put back in their original places.. So, what in the hell is going on with my monsoon system?

I want to buy the 8"mid-bass kicker subs and put those in the sail-panel spots but i'm not sure if that'd work either? I don't even know if any speakers will work, how can I check what's going on? I'm clueless about the wiring and stuff because of I am 16 and my father doesn't have the time to help. So I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys could chime in and give some advice, I know all of this probably sounds dumb, I suppose that I am just ignorant in this area..But anyways, someone please give some advice?

Thanks,
Caleb

I would forget about the sail panel speakers, and add a sub. That will give you much better bass, than those little 6.5s. If you can't or don't want to, do a search, there are several threads about cost efficient replacements for the sail panel speakers.

Well right know, I'm just trying to figure out what the hell is wrong... I checked the stuff today, the speakers are fine. I have no amp in the back near the spare tires so that is one problem (i guess it got jacked by either the guy I bought it from or someone jacked it from him) Anyone know where I could buy that amp at???. But another problem is, that theres no circuit on the wiring, so somewhere I beleive the wires are touching or something, How can I figure this shit out, like I said, I'm not an experienced electronic person or an audio person. I have no idea about this kinda stuff, someone please chime in and help?

Thanks again,
Caleb
