Okay I found these and were curious if anyone knows anything about them they look better than the 555r's and are only 340 shipped thats not alot really.

Completely different tire from a 555r. The 555r is a straight line performance tire. That tire is for roadracing/auto-xing.

Yeah, reallllly stiff sidewall on that tire, unlike the RII which can handle drag duty.

I'm sorry , I didn't explain.

You want a sidewall that flexes for drag racing, and a really stiff sidewall for road racing ( to handle lateral loads ).

So no, it's not a good tire for drag racing. It can be used, but there are better choices out there.
