Unhappy Doesn't anyone know the answer to this question????

When I pulled the pan and filter I see 2 solenoids. They look identical. How can you tell which one is the 1-2 shift solenoid????

(the 1-2 shift soleniod is A) (the 2-3 shift solenoid is B) if you are standing at the front of you car solenoid A is the 1 on your right. (info came from the general motors techtran manual #61Y03
