Drag Racing Results - I went from low 13's to low 11's the easy way.

Yesterday was my birthday and my sisters boyfriend offered to take me to the track with his 2 bikes a Honda 650 nighthawk (cams) and a Honda 919 (stock). We are both drag racing addicted so we both made a bunch of passes, My best was 12.6 with the nighthawk and a 11.1 at 124 with the 919. Not bad for me getting my bike permit a month ago and this being the second time I have ever ridden a road bike. Lol I have been riding dirt bikes all my life though so I guess that doesn’t make it as crazy. I'll tell you what I love dragging bikes, its a completely different atmosphere everyone is so much nicer, cool, funny, plus the bikes are way quicker, probibly because everyone is crazy. Sometimes I think about stopping modding my car and just buying a bike. Best with my car is 13.2 at 107 with a 2.1 60ft. Made 10 passes with the 919 and 2 or 3 with the nighthawk. All in all It was a great 18th birthday. Next week we are shooting for 10's with just some sprokets.

yeah bikes are nice but if you fall going that fast you'll be pretty phuct :hump: .

o this is true but i was thinking about it and getting into a 124 mph car crash aint so great either.LOL better chances in a car but still.LoL and thank you.

Bikes are a blast ,I've got a little 750 2 stroke I play with,it only runs 124 mph though..........in the 1/8.156 hp 310 lbs wheelie bar & airshifter,3 40mm lectron
powerjet carbs.

Jditlfm you are right about racing bikes from cars. I love racing my cars. I go from running high 12.Xs to mid 13.Xs depending on what I am messing around with on the Z28 to my high 8.X's on the 'busa. I would only have to say have fun on both.

Whats done to the busa, they are nasty bikes i just wish the handled a little better or mabey wasn't so damn big. I am thinkin about getting a cbr1000rr right now i like the look. We just got the sprockets on the 919 and its a whole different bike now. Getting 10's this weekend.

i'll guess he has a 50 shot and is a great rider.i like my busa also.easy to ride and smooth power,of course mine is still stock except for being lowered.

as far as my mods on the busa... shes lowered 1.5 inches in the rear, 4mm in ther front (kinda a free mod for the busa without having to buy anything), 45 shot (only used at the strip), and PCIII which isnt on yet.... maybe this weekend, and I also have the normal appearance mods frame sliders, tank pad, etc.

This are his mods copied from a different post. Who knows he could have more more nitrous and such but who knows. Also his PCIII is probaly on.
