did you knife edge it? It is hard to tell in the second pic.

Looks good though.

When I did mine, I didn't use the filler for the sensor area.

No knifing, and I don't know that I will knife the edge before installing it, as I do not want to threaten the idle..

You'll only just trimming the 12 o clock/6 o clock of the throttle body blade thickness.

Yes you can replace the blade. What year is your car and what year did this TB come from? You might need to swap out the shafts/cam on the TB's as well. If you're not sure what year car it came from, swap the shafts anyway.

Make sure to use some blue loctite on the screws when re-installing the blade.

It came from a 2001, so the shaft and cam should be fine. how hard will swaping the blade's be?

Do you see those 2 torq screws on the blade? Unscrew them. Blade should slide right out behind the TB when you open it up.

Yeah, I noticed about that hole was a little bigger than my TB hole.

Also you see in this picture how my blade is sharpened both on opposite ends.

bene, what tools did you use to knife the blade like that? would there be other downsides to leaving the current blade other than higher idle lower mpg? and would there be any benefits?

.145" on the #70125 blade(mostly on truck TBs) and .165" on the #79651 blade.
