Default Sneak Peak Project 02SilverZ

Work feverishly continues on project 02SilverZ. The car has changed dramatically since it was out last season, and its hardly recognizable to its former 11.30 head and cam self. The project is sheduled to wrap up in early August, testing and dyno pulls to follow. Here’s a quick, inside look at the project coming together.

I have to throw a big thanks to Nick and Eric for all they have done for me and this project. I really couldn't have done it without those guys helping me with phone calls, leg work and "throttling" me back when I would bring up some crazy idea or end up in left field somewhere.

Now it's just up to me to get this pig finished up so I can hit the track!

She did an awsome job but she hit her head so many times on the roll cage I don't think she remebers who she is!! There are a lot of cuts/seams in it that you can't see in the pics but it will do.

How much nitrous is that motor gonna see.... you don't coat pistons like that if you're not planning on spraying it heavy and often. Ask me how I know.

Car looks awesome tho! Hope someday when I finish mine it looks that nice!

Did you weld the cage or was it done at a chassis shop? Never seen a top bar tie in to the hoop like that before.

Regardless, the car looks real good. I can respect a guy who doesn't throw everything out on the table for people to know too.

Nick and Eric do good work...... they have my camaro right now and just like yours, nothing unusual about my build...

Car looks sweet, when your mom regains her footing, tell her that she did a great job on the carpet!!

I had the cage professionally done. It is NHRA certified to 8.50's. Car won't run that. (This year!)
