Not the same one, but that' s where I got mine. Couldn' t see spending a $100. It works pretty good, too.

just a question, not tying to say anything bad because you have put a lot of time and work into your engine bay. But should the Can be at the shortest distance possible from the engine/ throttle body? I would think that your set-up might fill your line from the engine to the Can quicker than some of the others I've seen mounted on the passenger side of the car? By that I mean oil is heavy and may coat the side of the hose. Anyway, I dont have a Oil catch can yet, but I will soom and how long have you had yours on your car and do you get a lot or a little out of your can. Also, Have you taken the hose off and checked the amount of oil dripping out of the lines?? Anyway, your engine bay looks awesome. Even if you chose purple...

That engine bay is HOT!

I wouldnt see the distance being a problem as its still in the system and has to go through it no matter how long the hose is.

Looks good, but one question:
How do you drain the oil from it when it's time?

Edit: I'm referring to the one on Ebay 99kamarokid posted....

I don't see anymore of the one's like I got listed on Ebay but this is the sellers email if you want to contact them and see if they still have them. purchase4lessnow@yahoo.com
I don't think the distance really maters the whole thing is under vacuum so the oil will make it to the can and no father once it gets there.

Yeah, I doubt the distance hurts anything either ....

It has a drain plug on the bottom but I can't really get to it so I'll just unscrew it from the wheel well and them take the plug out and let it drain.

Thanks.

Yea its the nicest one I found for the $40 shipped I paid for it.
It's very well made not cheep at all like alot of them you see on Ebay. And you can remove the top too if you want to to clean it out.

Yeah I got one just like that from ebay, but i have clear hoses and I can see oil in both of them. Does this mean the catch can is not doing its job 100%.

try installing it on the passinger side of the car and shorten the distance. I would be courius to see the result after about 1,000 miles. My be that you engine is doing just fine and the small amount in your hose is just a coating that would result even on a newer motor. Good Luck. It is a simple system and I bet your Can is doing just fine.
