Sounds like a good combo. Make sure you go 17X11's in the rear! Tint the windows and do black overlays.

Excellent choices as long as you continue some sort of black secondary theme on the car. Go for it! Are you doing a gloss black CETA bumper? That's what I'd reccomend, as well as sanding off the bird on the center panel between the taillights.

#1. Don't sand he bird off the center piece, looks stupid.
#2. NO to black rims. If you want black rims, just dont wash them for a while, the brake dust will give it that look.
#3. YES paint the CETA mod, gloss black
#4. Get the black PONTIAC overlay for the rear
#5. I think black blackbird stripes would look good, especially on a silver car. Keep the scheme from the front to the back.

just my opinion, but good luck either way

Black rims are OK but not my thing. I also hate ZR-1's on firebirds and T/A's.

Yes, the CETA bumper mod is bad ***, definitely do that.

Also, another vote for Blackbird style stripes.

$0.02 from a truck guy that wishes he drove an F-body, so take it for what that's worth

I did a crappy photoshop of my car with black stock rims and chrome lip, and it still looked unbelievable! So Black rims are nice, but chrome lip makes it really stand out! CETA bumper all the way. Im planning on doing it to my car very soon. Although Im going for semi-gloss, personaly prefference. Stripes would look nice. Deffinitely in black.

Not sure about rear inserts, i want to fill mine in and make it smooth. And I think the filler panel is an either way thing. Ive seen both and dont mind either. Think they both look good.

I've never cared for ZR1/SS wheels on Firebirds. Likewise, never cared for Pontiac wheels on a Camaro. On a silver Trans Am, I'd go with either chrome, silver painted, or polished wheels. There are several nice aftermarket wheels now for less than a grand a set, and would look much nicer than ZR1/SS/WS6 factory wheels.

Silver or Gun Metal wheels look the best on a Silver Bird .. imo ..

out of all the wheels I had on my car .. I gt the most coments about the Gun Metal Boyd's and the Silver C5's. both colors looked awesome.

better luck with this over in the wheels section, but i think both would look great. as someone else stated, start with a black and silver theme and go with it.

chrome/polished looks way too good on silver to go black.... and SS/ZR1 style wheels just look wrong on firebirds to me, too. Everything else sounds ok
