Default got a PTM 90mm tb today

Hey I just picked up a PTM 90mm tb today...gonna try it with my new turbos. Looks real nice and is cheaper than the NW or the FAST. Anyone else picked up one of these or am I the only one saving some bucks?
Here are 2 pics I took before i installed it today on the new motor:

Looks nice! Very similar to the NW 90. How much do the PTM 90s cost?

Might want to drill that hole out a bit. I went from a ported stock TB (stock hole) to a NW 90 (same hole as the PTM) and it idled like ***. Opened the hole up to 13/64ths and it cranks up and runs like a champ.

I would shell out the extra bucks on the NW90 simply because Nick Williams is a member of this board and fellow LSx enthusiast, not to mention how proven it is. I'm not sure about the PTM though, they might be US based too?

The PTM 90mm tb is sold by TSP who sponsors this board and are fellow LSX enthusiast.I was told by them that the PTM 90mm tb is built in the USA,when I bought mine. This is just another great product for the fellow members of the LSX community.

You can't buy the TB's directly from Nick Williams, so he doesn't need to be a sponsor, but he's here for support if ever needed, which is the point I was making. He sells them all to SDPC from what I understand and the other vendors have them drop shipped from SDPC to your house. Guess how I found that out?

TSP also sells the NW 90's.

That looks like an LS2 manifold he's bolting it to.

You can bolt the 4-bolt style TB's to LS2, LS7 and FAST 90mm manifolds.

its bolted to a ls2 manifold.

you need better tuning....no need to drill tb holes anymore. NW is a nice piece...no doubt. I feel this is just as nice...not as shiny but i'll take the $$$ savings.

Wont bolt to a ls6 intake as its 90mm....bolts to a ls2 or fast 90mm intake.

If TSP sells it, it's gotta be good....they are a first rate shop.

I got the manifold/tb after my car was tuned with an LS6 and ported tb. This was before I got HP tuners. I drilled the hole out and it ran exactly the same way as before I messed with it.

I understand that you can tune it, but that hole is so outrageously small, that you would be overworking the IAC. It can't open/close instantly I don't think. You're giving it a head start with the IAC. MORE air isn't going to make it run worse.

I was thinking the same thing. You sure the program for cutting it didn't "accidently" get emailed out or anything?

Yours is very similar to the Fast 90, with a few changes.A tb is a tb,not much can be done to make one different than the others. It looks to very good quality and the price was right.

Old topic...

I'm running a PTM 90mm as well... which spot are you connecting your throttle cable at? The top or bottom spot? What's the reason for 2 locations?
