as said before there is plenty of info. on this site to find a set of headers for your taste... the most dominating brand people will tell is a set of pacesetters
all headers will basically sound the same and be no more than 1~10rwhp difference

my qtp's fit in nice alot of other people had problems fitting theres in, i must have been the 1/100 that was good. however the y-pipe from qtp is very shitty. hangs low not good for lowered cars..
prob the best for a lowered car is Pacesetters it fits good and matched with the TSP y-pipe it tucks up great from what i heard.
Kooks is also good and have heard both good fitment and bad fitment.
Good luck finding what you like, i bought the qtp's and love them. just wish the y-pipe wasnt so shitty.

Kooks and QTPs are supposed to fit the best. I could have literally put my QTPs in with my eyes closed and one hand on the header... on both sides. Good fitment is worth the money, and the stainless steel is a nice bonus. Absolutely do not get the SLPs. They hang low and have fitment issues.
Also, the QTP Y-pipe is a piece of junk. Fitment is terrible. I very, very highly recommend a custom Y. They're not any more expensive than the crappy QTP Y I bought. In fact, I could have had a custom one built for cheaper.

I went with Hooker LT's and they fit like a glove. Everyone told me that it was going to be a big pain in the ***, but if you have access to a lift it's really not that bad. Performance is awesome and it sounds great.

If you are worried about rust buy some high heat brake caliper paint and paint your "y", no one really sees that part of the car so it doesn't really matter but if you wanna protect it, paint several layers on like in like black or something and check it every so often maybe once a year or so for major chips, which I doubt you'll have any with a good couple coats!
