no, i think that will look horrible. i think silver, with burgundy lettering. Like a bright silver, and then Z28, or CAMARO in Black or burgundy would look good...my opinion..

Here's a caliper polishing write up if you decide to go the pimp daddy route. ~Joshua

I went with black for a few reasons:
1) Polished calipers require more upkeep and I'm lazy
B) I'm getting a black grille
III) I bought black lug nuts to go along with the brakes, brackets and aforementioned grille
0100) Most of my suspension components were already black (LCA's, LCA brackets, SFC's, etc.)
5) My wheels are painted. If my wheels were polished, I would have gone with a polished grille, polished lugs, and polished calipers. Since they're painted, I wanted something to compliment them.

As for your idea, I don't think burgundy and red would go well together. IMHO, it would look like you tried to color match, but it didn't work out. It's your car, though, so you do what YOU want to do.

you have a point there...red and burgundy would clash...the reason i was leaning towards red was cause its the only color ive seen that i like...after seeying chupr0kabra's gloss blacks though i made up my mind...id do polish...but im too damn lazy to clean them...hopefully i can get enough time off work this weekend to get them painted...thanks for the help...you guys prevented me from doing something dumb...

You're welcome.

It is a pain to sand everything down for the polish work... I painted the ones on my LT1 daily driver.
