If this is true, I like the deal.

**EDIT**

http://houston.astros.mlb.com/NASApp...=.jsp&c_id=hou

They sent Jason Lane back down to the minors. I'm guessing its not gonna be long before he's gone. Two minor leaguers for Aubrey Huff and cash. At least now we know Purpura knows how to make a trade.

My guess is that Huff will be playing RF more and Garner will keep rotating Lamb in between Berkman and Ensberg. He's been too good to sit on the bench.

exactly what I think will happen as well.

He has been hitting a little shy of .485 the past 30 days. I'll replace a .283 hitter for a .109 hitter (Lane) in the line up anyday.

Pack both of em up, plus some cash and send them to Tampa Bay for Carl Crawford.

Yes, I know it will never happen, but its nice to think about.

I'd love to see Crawford hitting to the Crawford seats, but I'd also like to see Dontrell here too.. without Clemens and maybe no Pettitte next year, our rotation could be weak.

I like it. Anything to shake things up a bit and give this team a new look. Lane has had MORE than enough time to get his head together. Hopefully, Huff will come in and do a great job for us.

Hopefully this will kind of jump start Ensberg too. With Lamb being as hot as he has, Huff coming in and Berkman being Berkman, they are running out of spots.

Purpura said this morning that the addition of Huff will cut into Ensberg's playing time. Maybe this will wake him up and get him going too.

One can only hope Ensberg snaps out of it. We could really use his bat.

I think something has to be wrong with Mo. He was too dominate of a player last season to go into a "funk" like this. I'd hate to think he is really injured and hidding it from everyone.

I like Ensberg, so i hope its injury and that he comes back to his form from last season. But if he's hurt, he needs to step up and let the team know, for the benefit of the team. Playing when you're hurt isnt helping Astros, its hurting them.
