Pretty good run with an SS I was out last night in the Hennessey, was burning off the old tires as the 355's come in tomorrow. So I was sliding around corners and such... I guess this guy saw me and decided to catch up and play. He was in a white SS, it sounded nice....he rev'd on me a couple times as we were crusing down the freeway.
Anyway, we were doing 60mph...3rd gear 4K for me..and he nails it, no honk nothing...I was in gear and ready so he only got about 3/4 of a car....took me to 100 to pass him, shut down at 120 with only 1.5 cars on him.
I slow, he catches up and since I had the top off I yelled at him to pull over.
Cool guy, his license plate says LILZ06...I asked him what made it a Z06.... ( i assumed he was kind of rice and just did it..) but, sure enough...LS6 under the hood....
Very nice... I would say, based on how close it was he was a low 12 second car.
Is that a common swap? we talked motors for a while, told him I had an LS6 swap...he laughed.... : I have seen you in the BADLAC....I know its in a V. Small world!
