Have a couple quick questions....first off is it possible to flush mount the amps to the rack..if i cut a hole that will fit my amp is there at least 2.5-3 inches clearance behind it? I think it would look alot better flush mounted. THe amps im running are crossfire vr404 and vr1000d. Also how does this mount to the vehicle, secure not going anywhere? Thanks in advance

I bought one a ways back. I like the fit in the car and for my amps they fit well. (Two old Rockford black and grind style.) There is some room behind the rack, but i'm not sure about the flush mount fitting.
The method for mounting it in the car however, leaves some room for improvement. You get no hardware, and a web address to some pics of how some guy installed his. You basically have to get creative at home depot, and rig something up to hold it to the back of the car. Or you can just run some long screws through it right into the sheet metal, which I did not want to do.
Keep in mind you have to get back there once in a while to change your tail lights.
