Let me ask Ellis if he thinks we'll need to go bigger on my car Bobby (I have 60lb Motrons now)

Mark that would be great, shoot me a pm if want and let me know how much you would want for them if you decide to upgrade!

So what is the rest of your fuel system setup with?? Is it just the racetronix plug and play and that is getting you good fuel at those power levels and those cubes???

Mine will more than likely be at around 450-480rwhp until the motor goes boom.

I have single the Racetronix kit. I also kept the ATI in-line pump, and added an Aeromotive 1000 boost referenced regulator. Still have stock lines & fuel rail. The car has about 70 psi @ idle, and it drops to 65 throughout the rpm band at WOT.

But if I hit it with less than 3/8th of a tank of gas, the fuel pressure drops. We figure the pumps are sucking the bucket in the tank dry. Right now at 8 lbs of boost the injectors are at about 75% duty cycle. Which is why I need to ask Ellis what I'll need when I go to 12 psi....

Oh, and before the s/c, the ATI pump held the pressure up all by itself.

Cool I might run the trex for right now with an MSd boost a pump then get the racetronix or something similar when I do the forged shortblock. I really don't feel like dropping the tank right now I just want to get this thing back on the road.

BTW I ended up picking up a set of 42# green tops which should do good for my power levels. It was a crazy deal so I had to take it. Let me know if you do decide to sell the motrons later though I might still be interested.

42s should be plenty for a cammed motor Bobby. I ran my Accel 30s (~35 psi with our fuel pressure) with the ATI pump on the stroker motor before I installed the s/c & they were good @ 420rwhp....maxed, but OK. Edit to the previous post - when I stuck the 60s on, the pump started to fade above 4500 rpm.

Will the 39lb ones out of a 03 - 04 Cobra work? I can get a set of those.

Yeah it sounds like they should be fine, right now I'd be happy with 460rwhp on the stock block and with a forged setup this winter I'm going to be looking into a system with a return line and go for 520-530rwhp and 11psi. But realistically if I could hit the 500 mark I think it will be a decent street setup. I might be picking your brain here and there if you don't mind.

I picked up a T rex pump with all the fittings, and lines included so it will be Extremely easy to install. That is a basically what the Vortechs come with so I'm going to run that until it goes boom then look into fuel setups more closely not too mention I'm going to have 360 total into my fuel system which goes with the budget themed FI I have going. Its going to be insane if I can do 500rwhp reliable HP for under 5k-7k $$ we'll have to see

I have a set of 42s that I traded from Mark for my Motron 60s. I would love to get rid of the 42s and get the 60s back from Mark....

Jesus!!! I guess I should have said I need some "little injectors"

Really the most I see me needing is the 42's they should support some decent HP if I go past that I'm sure I'll be needed some serious upgrades in other areas!

Thanks for the responses but picked up some green tops for 200. Amorget wish I would have known you had those for sale I would have given you half the money towards your 60's

No I picked up a Vortech Supercharger with aftercooler. So I just picked up some 42# injectors and fuel pump setup.

I figure I'll run this setup on the current motor and start buying some engine parts like timing chain, lifters, cam etc etc then pick up a shortblock this winter or spring and up the boost a bit.

So we'll see how it goes. I got the setup for a pretty good price.

Although right now I just want to get the damn car back together!!! I have a new wiring harness coming from Fred Beans.
