LS6 cam-good for turbo?
I posted this over in the internal engine section but I am not getting many opinions in there.....
I am putting a STS turbo kit on my 6 liter. The turbo is a GT67 which I am told is good for about 750 crankshaft hp. Obviously I want to squeeze as much power as I can out of this combo. I have a set of stage 2 heads from ET Performance, and I need a cam recommendation. I really would like to stick with a smooth idle/gas mileage friendly cam. I am thinking LS6 but which one would work best with a turbo....the 2001, or the newer ones?
Are there any other off the shelf cams that would work well with the turbo? TIA.

I was kinda leaning toward the newer one. What sucks is, I had one and I sold it for like $125. Now I am proably going to have to buy a new one again.
Since I have the ported heads, do you guys think the extra lift from a set of 1.8 rockers would help? I know the cost may not be justified and I know the argument.....just get a custom cam......but I like the idea of a factory cam, and I dont mind spending a little $$ for a little gain.
