Canadian Members - Cam Only Numbers

Hi guys, I just did a cam (mid 220's @ .050) and valve springs install on a M6 C5 and I'm pleased with the results. The car also has headers, LS6 intake and cold air filter. Before the cam and spring install, it made 325rwhp...After cam/springs and a road tune, it made 374hp / 378tq! Nearly 50rwhp Gain! We are hitting the dyno next week for a dyno tune and I'm thinking it could make another 10hp more with a/f fine tuning. Also a pulley and a ported TB will pickup 10more horse... So its very close to 400rwhp with great torque and minimal parts and a small cam with stock driving matters! If anybody would like a cam installed in the GTA please PM me.

Who's tuning?

'Vortech' s tuning with HPT. He is taking the car to the dyno next week to final tune it. He is really good, got it pretty close without a wideband on the street!

How much are we looking at for this??

Everything except dyno use... WOT, driveability, fuel + timing changes, rev limiter changes, shift points if A4, fan settings, etc...

What about heads do you install ?

Yes I can install also.

Vortech does excellent work we just put cam(G5X-2) and springs with LS-6 intake and headers and we dyno tuned it to 391hp 375lbs without pulley or ported TB.

I think its 232-240 595-608 on a 112LS.

Getting fuel trims where you want them can be a gruelling process which include many hours of logging. Is this included in your tuning service?

Yes it is-it's the only way to tune.
