Ok I been hearing alot of different people saying that the m6 is alot faster then the a4 from a dead stop and from a roll on. I was wondering if this true. I have an a4 as well but every one is telling me that stock for stock the m6 will be much faster. I was wondering if this is true just to kill my curiosity. I was kind of thinking the a4 was a little faster out of the hole because I have beat 2 ls1 m6 cars before (stock for stock). I thought the a4 was faster out of the hole and the m6 is a little faster at a roll on. Can anybody fill me in? thanks

i read awhile back in some magizine that both the m6 and a4 ran almost identical in stock form. i think the m6 was like .1 or .2 seconds faster in the 1/4. i could be wrong though. out of the hole, the m6 would be a bit quicker(stock), but if you add a new TC you will equal those odds. i hope this helps.

from a dig, and a4 will rape an m6 with a higher stall. from a roll, an m6 is always faster. ive taken out 1 m6 stock vs stock in my a4 ta. but i think the guy drivin the m6 didnt know how to drive. in an m6, it always depends on the driver. if you cant drive stick, then dont get in the drivers seat.

With all 4 of my Fbodys, the A4 has always been faster (if it shifts) from a Dig. The M6 will rape it once it hits 3rd gear, so in roll's the stick will win. Apples to Apples, oranges to oranges, Gears etc. Most M6 cars have bigger gears, i.e. some of my TA's had 2.73's, and the M6 SS's, and Firehawks have 3.42's.

Auto with a nice stall should always win, both from a dig and roll (as long as the speed is good for both cars).

Not faster than me! I can shift so quickly that you can barely tell except for the rpm change.

M6 cars put more hp to the ground, and usually trap 3-4 mph faster in the 1/4 mile stock.
