Open Headers?

Open Headers? How long could I drive my car like this? I know running this long enough will foul out the front O2 sensors but how long does this normally take? Clamping some pipe at the end of the collector is option I know but that's how tight I am for some cash. Reason I ask is, I need to break in my cam before I get my exhaust and dyno tune done at the same place... and also need to pick up some extra cash before hand

Someone will have to verify this but I was under the impression our cams did not have a breakin period. Once the engine is up to operating temp you should be good to go.

100miles won't foul out your o2 sensors or it depense r those the stockers o2's? have u change em befor? be careful though...
I won't even drive it for 10miles, my boy was runing open headers heading to my house (5 miles away from his house) and he stop next to a popo on a stoplight and the cop didn't hesitate to impound his car straight to referee and check illegal mods on his car. trust me its a bitch he went to court and the judge almost did'nt give his car back cuz of lots of mods and polluting cali
so u gota be carefull bro, stay away from the 50's, 100mile is along way here in the bay.

You have headers coming off the heads but no exhaust after that.
usually you would have this: headers --> ypipe --> catback
with open headers its just the headers, and it is LOUD!

Never heard of fouling the 02s with just headers....ive been running stock manifolds and the stock Y unbolted rigth after the Y...my 02s are fine so far...been like this for about a week now....dunno? But i DO have an LT1 lol...

I ran open Y pipe after we replaced the slave in my car. Did it for about 3 weeks. Didnt want to bolt the exhaust up until we knew the slave was gonna hold. I had no ill effects.
Not quite open headers, but close, and yes, it is loud as ****.

forgot to mention that... dual gold springs and quite a few other goodies are being replaced so...
