Isn't the LM 1 just the tubing with a resonator behind the cat? If you go the borla or anything "mouth" route you're just replacing the SLP resonator (which is essentially a hollow tube) with a bullet muffler, which would actually make it quieter. What you want is long tube headers, an off road y pipe, and a bottle of aspirin.

I went the LT ORY LM route, and it lasted a month. It wasn't so much the loudness as much as the crappy sound quality.

definitely do not advise going that route... any sort of muffler is gonna quiet down the sound.. what you need is a pair of long tube headers.. its gonna be exceptionally louder (especially since you have loudmouth!) the only thing is after awhile most guys ditch that setup 1) due to the noise, 2) the sound/rasp... honestly it just starts sounding like crap.. if you want a good sounding setup, sell your lm, and go true duals

If LOUDMOUTH is too quiet for you i have a simple solution: CUT OUT. The only thing louder than a cutout would be running Test pipes or Straight headers. You can put the cutout anywhere you want, when i had mine it was just after the y-pipe, i would set off car alarms it was so loud . Loud enought that nobody wanted to race me... very sad. If you get an electric one, you can control how loud you want it, so if you get sick of the drone and the extra vibrations it causes (and i promise, after a few months, you WILL), you can close it without having to go under the car.

Oh... and WAY cheaper than buying a new cat-back, or LT Headers. Just a thought.

i like my car kinda quiet for that stealth aproach but lts and ory will definitely make it louder and sound better.once i had to drive it to the muffler shop with open headers and i couldn't believe how loud it was, even compared to a cutout at the end of the i-pipe.
