Default Need some advice/suggestions.

Any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated.

My current mods are Lid, cai, and a catback.

2002 T/A m6

I am trying to keep costs down as much as possible, and this is my daily driver. Somewhere in the 12's is my goal, and I would like to trap 110+.

My plans are PnP my stock TB, 3.73, and buying a LS2 cam package that includes the following for $350 for a said 25-40whp.

LS2 camshaft (used with minimal mileage)
LS2 valvesprings and retainers (also used)
LS2 front cover
LS2 timing gear and new LS2 Heavy Duty timing chain
Cam position sensor
new front cover gasket and crank seal

I don't really want to do headers and y because of the cost and fitment issues. I would like to go with kooks if i went that round and can't justify almost 1500 bux for those mods. Plus the cutting of the k-member and grinding of the block. It has to be stainless, as I will be driving the car in Chicago in winter. And would like to keep the cam as mild as possible.

So my question to you guys/gals, is what do you think of this route. And what kind of numbers(whp/et/mph) do you think it will obtain. And would there be any better way?

Thanks.

Go with a bigger cam. 1 of the sponser here on the right hand side. Has patriot cams for $265.00. Thats cheap and the way to go.

What else do I need on top of that, and what type of power gain am I looking at?

i would say get something like a 224 or a 228 on xer lobes.a set of headers will greatly help your power though.some of the coated headers like the pacesetters will last quite a while if you try to keep them clean.
