Default TSP Torquer V2 or new Torquer v3 Question

i'm buying a ls7 clutch/flywheel in about 2 weeks, after that i'll get a nice cam. i was thinking to buy the torquer v2, but then i was reading about the new v3.
Torquer v2 specs: 232/234 .595/.598 112
Torquer V3 specs: 231/234, .643/.598 112
i was wonder, what cam should i get if i wanted to have good driveability and lots of power eveywhere in the powerband???

The TRex is way to big of a jump from the Torquer. Definately not the cam he is looking for. I think the V3 would be a better choice over the V2. You will need springs good to .650 lift which will be a little pricey, but the LSK lobes on the intake should give you a much broader torque curve. Another good DD cam with power everywhere is Patrick G's torque cam which was offered through Thunder Racing for a while. I'm sure if you called them they could still get it for you. I believe it utilized the LSK lobes as well. The TRAk cam is another good selection similar in size to the Torquer. Good luck!

I imagine they would. The PRC's are advertised good up to .660"

I'll let you know soon, as I just got off the phone with Zach at TSP and swapped my Torquer V2 for a V3 on a 111. Brian mentioned in a PM that it will clear stock and PRC heads and can be daily driven.

From what I understand the V3's are supposed to be ready around the beginning of August. Thanks for that RMA number, Zach.

Anyone wanting results of the V3, just do a search for the TRak cam from Thunder Racing. It too is a 231/234 .643/.598 112LSA. Thunder's had it out for a year now. After much research, I'm sure many other companies are discovering the advantages of running comparable valve events and are just giving them different names, LOL. Hey, whatever sells cams...

Same lobes. LSK on intake and XE-R on exhaust. Since the TRak cam is one of the best performing cams that Thunder Racing sells, I would expect that the V3 would also be one of the best performing cams that TSP sells.
