Default Let's see some painted lids

I'm not sure if I want to do it yet. I don't want it to look ricey.
I'm considering lower part of the intake / radiator mount thingy too.

Prep/paint tips welcome.

Wow, I'm gonna do it. Looks like it eliminates the "big piece of plastic" look. Now I need to decide on a color. I've got the new PP intake manifold coming so I think I'll go with silver (my car color) and then some sort of black graphic sticker.
Got any links to a nice sticker supplier?

Thanks for the pics. That one with the flames is insane!

Here's mine, along with the entire engine bay.

It's a TSP lid, that I used a pheonix and t/a logo on it, then painted it to match the car, and then removed the graphics.

dude, less than a month ago, I was telling you how much I like the exterior appearance of your car. Now I'm going to duplicate your engine bay except I'll use a different logo and I'll have a chrome intake man.
NICE!

I use automotive paint with an adhesion promoter mixed in to adhere to the plastic.
