Default Throttle response experts??

Guys, I have an 02 SS and I am disappointed in the throttle response. Before this car, I had an 02 trans-am....throttle response was great. I have noticed when in park or nuetral the SS is slow to respond to a rev, then slow to fall back to idle.
The T/A I had was very crisp and revved nicely. Same thing with daily driving, its like theres no "feedback" throught the pedal, very soft. My 02 suburban has a better throttle feel than this, its killing me.

I have searched, I have checked for excess play in the throttle cable, according to my scanning software the TPS is fine, what can I do? Thanks, Ron

I thought of that, the T/a was an m6, the SS is an auto.....but would that make a difference in how crisp the throttle response is by revving a from idle? The gas pedal just seems to have a loose, "no return spring" kind of feel to it.....

Contact Mark Shaner, and order an S2 ported and polished throttle body...it will change dramatically.

Well, thank god this question about THROTTLE RESPONSE was moved to the TRANSMISSION section......Seems to me it was more THROTTLE BODY related than anything, but what do I know. Thanks, Ron

S2 is what he'll recommend for the A4 on the street. S3 is for m6 cars. I can't tell you the difference, it's just what he recommends. It's well worth the $120 or so.
