Default spark plug question.

would tr55 iridium's be okay for a stock ls1? i need to change mine out and they dont have tr5's...

there ok....the ac delco iriduims work good to....just stay away from the boschs

TR55 or TR6's will work for your car both great plugs but i like the 55's

The TR-6's are too cold. I put a set in mine gapped at .035 trying to chase down some problems and it ran like ****. Incredibly smooth, but it felt like it was down 30hp. If you've got spray they are fine and offer some extra security, but you don't need them n/a.

The iridiums are fine. Run them with the gap they come with and don't alter it. I noticed no difference from the v-powers to the IX's BTW, so if want to save a few bucks, just run the v-powers at .055 and you'll be fine.

Use a little anti-sieze on the plugs as well.
