wont allow me to view thread got a link froma friend in a pm about a car for sale and it says access restricted or something. what gives?

The thread you linked was locked due to the fact that the seller was a car dealership. Thus they are advertising on our site without being a sponsor. Apologies.

If you had done something wrong you would have received a private message from the staff. As for being banned from forums, that does not happen. We do not ban members from certain sections of the site.
