When I had my Vig3200 installed (stock internals) I had a basic tune for shift points, fans, etc. I took it to the dealership for some warranty work and they flashed my pcm. Afterwards, when driving the car felt horrible. Would always hit the rev limiter during the 1-2 shift and seemed like it would cut power when upshifting (torqe management kicking in?).
With that being said, get the tune. At the time mine cost 100, seems like most places nowadays charge around 150 for that type of tune.

I've been running mine with no tune for 8 months with no major problems. It will hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift, but I can live with that for years to come if I want.
