Default Should I get this 2000 Trans-AM WS6

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=50

Well I sold me DSM like a while ago and I finally paid off my 1500 in tickets and got my licence back. So I'm looking for a car. I have about 14k saved up and my parents are giving me 1000 for graduating college and I'm thinking about what car I should get. Now I've been trying to figure out if I should just save up my 15k and use it to purchase a fixer up home with my father, fix it up and sell it. Or if I should just go all out now and get the Red EVOIX MR that I dream about (Or 2003 Z06).

If I decide to not spend the 15k, then I'm looking for something where I can put down only 1-2k and I can have payments of around 300 or less. So what I'm looking at is cars that are in the 18k or below range.

I found this WS6 earlier today on Trader and I've been contemplating if I should get it of not..... My problems with it are the age, and the fact that its not a 01-02 with the 15 extra hp. Plus I think the price is kinda high, but I hope to talk em down about 2-3k.

What do you guys think about this? If not, other reccomendations are welcome.

gorgeously kept and great miles... good find. if you talked him down from that, it'd be stealing the car - ****, i'd feel bad about it.

It's not a bad deal at all. I paid $14,500 and had a $1000 dollar trade in when I picked up my 2000 Trans Am with 44,600 miles 1 1/2 years ago. All the same options except it was a WS6/Ram Air. For those miles on that one and condition it's in, that is a deal. Depends on how many miles/condition YOU want. Good luck.

BTW, depends on your financal institution on what you pay. I ended up financing like $14,300 with tax, title,BS. 5 year loan @ like 5.75%. Which is incredible for a 5 year old car at the time. (Feb. 2005). Somebody MAY go 6 years on it to get you under $300 a month.
