Well the biggest news is....I am still waiting on some of the parts. I got the car running but the opti is failing now and I am waiting for a New MSD unit to pop up in the mail

I have been getting a few little things done to it. All new brakes ,Rotors(thanks Howierd you are up VERY soon!) and pads. I cleaned and painted the Calipers red and Black while I was at it.

We also started wiring the final switch's and circuits. Need to pick up a few relay kits to finish up. I relay every thing so the is very little load on the switchs in the the cab. Once the relay kits are in I can run final wiring. The line lock is fully installed and relayed I just need to get to the Switch phase

I am also wiring in the WBC so we can for the first time actually tune this car. It has never really been tuned. You guys know how it runn's now wait till it is tuned LOL!

After the new Front K-Member and arms went on I found the car un-comfortably twitchy. So much so I would not let Steph drive it. I hope to have resolved this by adding a Bump steer kit from Baer. I also got the front Brake lines mounted and safely out of the way. After we installed the Hawk pads and new rotors on the back I had to go and figure out how to re-adjust the Parking brake again.

I also aquired a GODDY looking hood to put on the car. Well the price was right and the color is a fair match so I bolted it on and learned how to adjust F-body fenders. I must say all the horror stories I heard about glass hoods were Quickly dissmissed after 30 minutes of Fender adjustments! i think lack of experiance leads the folly on that myth

So the list of things left to do is small but greater then the time I usually get to put into this project

Left to do list

Wire relays
Run control wires to cab
install control switch's
Install Cryogenic Bottle w/heater
rip cooling system and front balancer off and install new Opti
finish relocating stuff moved for Ignition install
Start tunning and test CAI options
Take to track for testing and Aquire correct time slip for show and tell

I am sure I missed a few things but that is where I am at right now.

Maybe Steph can put up a few pictures.

Daym that looks sweet - and a lot of hard work too. I was wondering about the new hood, looks like it fits perfect and not too high enough...couple of years ago some idiot at PR had fabbed up one that was so high he couldn't see the tree from the left lane. They had to move him to the right. duhhhh

For every person that bitches the Groo master doesn't have time to get to their car remember what time you are asking for to get the blue car to the track

Thank you every one. The hood really fit well after I figured out how to adjust the fenders. Like I said I think shear stupidity is why many 'Glass hoods wont fit well

Jimmy got hid Racetronix pump in. I MUST say racetronix finally pulled there head out of there *** and got a nice kit going for the LT1 cars! Hell we even got instructions! This pump is only a few month's newer then mine and yet it was a much nicer kit then the one I installed in mine!
