here is the summary that my buddie posted up on the other forum. my heads/cam consist of GTP stage2+ heads and TR T-Rex cam. i dynod 462/402 to the wheels:

Chef and cam02ss went out for some fun runs tonight (all motor heads & cam LS1 SS Camaro vs Kenne Bell SC'd SVT Cobra). We all expected the outcome, but it was cool nonetheless. I was riding in the SS filming and Fartpipe rode with Chef.

First run:
The SS jumped a bit and they were reasonably even for the most part with Chef getting the SS by about 1-1.5 cars at the top of 4th. cam02ss also hit the rev limiter in 3rd, so lost a bit of ground there due to that.

Second Run:
This time the run was a little cleaner, but cam02ss seemed to be short shifting a little after over-revving the first run, which I think hurt the run that time (6200-6300 vs 6600-6700 the first run). Chef got the SS by a good 4 cars this run. Had cam02ss shifted a little later, I think the overall gap would have been more like 2.5-3 cars at the end.

Overall, good runs and two very fast cars. This is what its all about, just going out and having fun. I'm sure Chef, cam02ss and Fartpipe will all chime in with their views on it but here are the vids to check out a while.

Good Death. A loss to that car is not bad at all. You hung with him well in that first run and he started to pull it was over. Either way no shame in that death

Nice runs, just add a 100 shot and he may not catch you, from a roll with 4:11's you have a killer midrange. Nice.

pretty sure he would have done a lil bit better if he had 3.42 gears and a 100 shot.

I'm surprised you hung with that Cobra as well as you did on the 1st race considering you didn't speed shift. Have you had your car at a track before?

Maybe if my fatass wasn't in the passenger seat filming it, the SS would have pulled a lot harder LOL.

But yeah, Bob's Cobra is no slouch. Good runs though Will. She's a runner.
