Default *****Futral F15 & F.I???s

Im having a futral f15 236/239 .599 .612 111lsa installed in a stock 346 now but next winter im thinkin of building a 408 or 402 with the F15 cam 225 dart heads fast 90 & so on. My question is will this cam be ok with a supercharger? thanks ditti

Call them and have a custom grind done.

IIRC, blower cams tend to have more exhaust duration put in vs the intake then what that F15 seems to have (more like a 226/234 or 228/240). Also (at least on "shelf" cams) they've got a ~114 LSA instead of that 111.

To me, that sounds like more of an n/a cam then an FI cam. Take that for what its worth tho, Im still learning cam specs for FI applications but I dont think if you went w/ FI in the end, that cam would be optimum.

that cam would not be good for boost especially on a stock 346 shortblock

I don't have 'charger, but I've got some turbos that I'm bolting up and I'll be using my Lunati 236/236 -.58x .58x - 112 LSA that made 421 rwhp N/A.

I'll let you guys know what it does on 6psi in a couple weeks. Should sound pretty wicked mixed with the turbos spooling up.

+15.5 degrees overlap... alot for a blower/street car. It will make power, just not near efficient. A custom cam would be the way to go.

This would not be used on a 346! Im planing on building a 402 or 408 like i said above thanks 2 those who posted! ditti
