That varies on weight of oil and whether it is synth or not.

That is about what I've seen with non syn oil. I see about 45-50 at normal temps and 30-35 ish after it is really hot and has been beat on. After I get a few more miles on it I'll go back to Redline 10w40 like I ran in the other motor. No issues with it dropping too much when it gets hot.

That redline 10w40 is a full synth?

I've been thinking about getting that melling ls1 high volume / high pressure oil pump from thunder.

Or if that isn't quite the ticket I can afford a dry sump, it will just take me a little while to save for it. I've always wanted one, just never _needed_ it. But it makes me real nervious when the oil pressure gets under 35-40

35-40 is plenty at idle, even 30 is perfectly fine, unless we're talking that reading is at WOT, *then* that is something to worry about.

I'm just talking about idle / idling down the road. Have not even made a WOT run recently, need to make sure everything else is fine before WOT runs, then I'll throw new turbos back on the car and be in business.

Redline is a full syn. Your pressure is good though, I wouldn't worry about as long as it builds on RPM when your in it.
