Default Removing secondary air good or bad idea?

Removing secondary air good or bad idea? Is it more of a headache than its worth? Does it effect the longevity of the 02 sensors? Or how the car runs with it being removed. What about the codes? Is it better to leave it alone since its really an appearance mod anyway. Performace shouldnt sacrifice for appearance.
