Are you being serious about this being a shitty kit because I've been thinking about doing it lately.

I'm just not sure how well it will hold up. The black seemed to cover well. The red took 6 coats.

All I ever use is engine paint. Touch every couple of years. Last year I polished my caliper brackets but this year they will be powder coated chrome.

Looking good, may I suggest removing the rotor and sanding and painting the center part. Just take some blue painters tape and tape off the surface where the break pad touches the rotor and paint away. It will clean your brakes up even more, you'll be blingin then.

edit: Paint the rotors black for your car, I painted mine greyish silver to match my wheels.

Caliper looks great!

But holy moly, is the front still jacked up?

Lookin good, and thought about paint, but wouldn't painting be more maintenance as opposed to a "high polish" aluminum finish? Just curious.

Comments and rebuttals welcome for either method

It was cheap. I may pull the calipers and have them & the brackets powder coated this winter.

I like the look of a lowered car, but in New England, the roads suck & you bottom out everywhere with a lowered car. And I have a 300+ ft gravel driveway.
