Default Post pics of where your FI Guages are located

Just like the title says... where do you have guages mounted. I cant decide to go pillar or AC vents. Both have their ups and downs...

pillar, easy to see, just look a little left, but everyone can see it, at night they light up and people see it and it just screams I have a power adder!

vents- cant be seen by anyone, fit like their molded, but they are a little harder to keep track of.

Post pics of where yours are and why you like them there and your opinion on what you think.

Being you have a T/A, vents are the best option. I had a triple pillar, kinda looked weird and gave you a slight blind spot. All T/A's that I have seen with gauges in their vents look awesome IMHO.

+1 for vent location......you should've made this a pole

Any mod, could you make this a simple poll, 2 choices for TA, pillar or ac vents. Thanks!

I'm about 5'11" and tend to sit more upright when I'm driving my car (ie....i don't lean way back gangsta style......). I like to have my arms bent at the elbows and up towards the wheel in a much more attentive manner.....this position seems to block the middle guage a little bit. I always keep the A/F at the top pod (so it is always in view)...fuel in the middle (sometimes can't see the very top of the guage where the needle lies....but I don't look at it much anyways), and boost at the bottom pod.

Ok, so i've searched some as well and found that in triple pods, some of the guages are blocked, so really they arent that easily seen. I'm leaning towards the vents, anyone have any good pics of TAs with guages in the vents? Thanks!

Didn't you just make this thread (or one just like it?) a week or so ago? https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/535452-guage-mounting.html

Do you have problems seeing your fuel pressure with the triple pod Carl? I was thinking about the triple with the guages oriented just as you have it.

Block the vent off really well.... AC will cause condensation in the high dollar boost controller if the cold air can get to it.
