General Maintenance & Repairs - Please help me not sell my car!!!

So it's posted for sale, but if I can fix this the wife won't make me sell it! 01 trans am ws.6. Problem started about 3 weeks ago when I had a little trouble putting the car in reverse. Then it progressed into a noise I heard when shifting, a grinding noise. Now, when I put the car in first gear, while the clutch is in I hear a something rattling, let out the clutch and it stops. I know this has to sound familiar to someone, all advice appreciated

Take it to the professionals man...its probably nothing!! Dont sell it, u better be wearing the pants!!! Geezzz...get it fixed please.. Good Luck

Check the clutch fluid in the white container between the brake master cylinder and the driver's side fender. It may be low which won't allow the clutch to work properly. If it is low, it may also need to be bled.

If that's not the case, it sounds like the clutch release cylinder went out. The good news is: it's a simple fix. Bad news is: trans has to come out.
