Built by Erik Koenig at HPE (Horsepower Engineering) in texas. Erik is the head machinist instructor at S.A.M. (school of automotive machinist) and is highly regarded in the industry.

The motor consits of a handpicked and sonic tested GMPP iron 6.0 block bored to 4.062
Forged Eagle crank
Callies compstar rods 6.125 length
Diamond custom nitrous pistons with 7 cc dish/reliefs
Diamond TNT select nitrous rings
Clevite bearings (PN upon request)
Rollmaster double LS1 timing set
GMPP LS6 oil pump...ported for added oil flow
Blanced at HPE in Texas
ARP main stud kit

This is not your typical $3800 LS1 short block. Machine work and balance are top notch.


As soon as it comes back from the local machine shop in a week or two it will have new TNT select nitrous rings and brand new bearings. Everything has been checked and cleaned. Refreshed and Ready to go for 900+ rwhp.

I made 560 rwhp NA and approx 850 with nitrous with this motor.

Ill let it go locally for $4000 and will include an LS1 stand

yep..its going in a Z06...should be a stout car. he will be wooping all those Tampa Stock 03/04 Cobras for sure if I have anything to do with it. Im gonna help him get it together and help him set up a good spray package if he wants too.

I have to plan for that, and DONT want to break shit at first.

It will be NA for now. I WILL spray it on the next round of mods.

I need a new clutch now, heads, cam combo, fuel pump, mabe suspension stuff.

LATER I will need, huge intake, direct port fast, maybe 90-105mm, NEW rearend,clutch,and ALL suspension work, double stage nitrous, and a CAGE! :headbang:

SO hopefully in a month or so, this Z should be trolling the streets :smokin2: again............
