Default Replace a/c condensor with intercooler

I am wondering it anyone has tried this and if you guys have an opinion on if it will work. I have the TTi street kit with 3" thick OBX intercooler. I was thinking about pulling my a/c condensor out and putting the i/c in its place. This is kind of where the TTi intercooler goes, but not quite. Reason for doing this is I don't/can't cut my front bumper up and I want as stock looking vehicle as possible.

Now, since I have a ram-air car I was thinking about routing the air from the nostrils to hit the i/c in addition to the air getting to it by the normal factory route.

I will see if I can get some pics up tonight of what I am talking about. Has anybody done this? Does anyone have any theories about it? I know it probably won't be quite as effective as a normal front mount, but I would think it would be better than the TTi way, and maybe close to a front mount.

when i had my tti intercooler by the radiator like your talking my IAT were over 200*F
they were horrible, i would never put an intercooler there again, it doesnt get enough airflow.
on my new set up i have a 4" obx style and i only see my IAT go to about 100*F

so thats my opinion.

Smokin, do you think part of your issue was the TTi intercooler itself being too small/inefficient? Your results are not what I was hoping to hear.

I guess I could try it out and see what happens.

i think it ws mainly the placement the TTi IC wasnt to bad for the power levels i was pushing (512rwhp)
most of my runs were during a 100* day, but the IAT skyrockted up to like 197*
