Anybody in the East Texas or Close?? that has changed out or knows how to change the window motors
in an f-body? I need to change both mine out & would like to find someone
to give me a hand so I can save some $$ on labor. It would also give me
a chance to learn something new.

Hey have you seen the write up on how to fix the window motor? here is the link http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html I've changed mine once. now i need to fix my headlights...

Thanks Greg for all your help. It seems to be doing a lot better. The fuel gauge still reads full, but no other problems. I took the bezel off thinking the needle was stuck, but everytime I moved it, it went right back to full. Oh, I did find my wallet sitting on my dresser. And I'm gonna getcha back for some of the stuff we had to buy yesterday.

Get the motors from autozone... They are warrantied for life. They will go out again even if you get GM ones, thats a BIG peice of glass that motor is having to move.

that sounds like a good idea im gonna have to remember that next time ..... i bought mine from the stealership cause mine was stuck down and i needed it up and the only place that had one in stock was there 
of course lol
