Question Anybody in the East Texas or Close??

that has changed out or knows how to change the window motors
in an f-body? I need to change both mine out & would like to find someone
to give me a hand so I can save some $$ on labor. It would also give me
a chance to learn something new.

I did mine using those directions. Fairly easy, no problems. Just make sure you have all the needed tools.

it was a slightly annoying fix, but its worth doing yourself. oh, and DONT BUY A CHEAP EBAY WINDOW MOTOR! you will end up replacing it again in a few short months.

Thanks Greg for all your help. It seems to be doing a lot better. The fuel gauge still reads full, but no other problems. I took the bezel off thinking the needle was stuck, but everytime I moved it, it went right back to full. Oh, I did find my wallet sitting on my dresser. And I'm gonna getcha back for some of the stuff we had to buy yesterday.

I've seen some on there that say OEM. It looks like some are crap, but others appear to be the real deal. Aren't those OEM ones worth getting?

if its OEM from GM it should be fine as long as they are new, you dont really want to take a chance on used ones

Get the motors from autozone... They are warrantied for life. They will go out again even if you get GM ones, thats a BIG peice of glass that motor is having to move.
