My shocks and springs, or maybe just my springs(?) are a little too bouncy. Anywhere over 40 mph over mild to moderate dips and bumps in the road, my ride will often bottom out. At lower speeds, the cars bounces and the shocks and/or springs squeak as they bounce. I don't know if this is normal, I've never noticed it in any other of my other non-f body vehicles. I've noticed the bouncing since before my mods btw. I plan on going with Dart 225s and f13 cam down the road with fatter tires and rims. I'll probably be somewhere in the 420ish hp range on this, a daily driver. Any suggestions for shocks and springs set up? Include price and where to buy if you have that info, please. Thanks

Check out this Stickey as far as ride heights. You need to figure out how much you want to spend because the sky is the limit. I would say your shocks and struts are bad if they are sqeaking. If I had to do my setup over again I would get HALs QA1 Coilovers for the front and there shocks in the rear. HALs springs up front stockers in the rear with the Hose Mod. If you don't know what that is search (Hose Mod)

or I would get DMS Springs if I didn't want adjustablity with a set of Bilsteins

Koni Sa's are nice shocks and struts

Bilsteins with the Eibach Prokit is nice to and alittle cheaper.

Springs should be fine, you are describing dead shocks/struts.

Drag only, consider HALs... but ONLY for drag. Rotten street handling.

I like Koni SA or DA, but they are pricey. Still, perhaps the best street/road race handling for the bucks. A grand plus for 4.

Alternately, revalved Bilsteins from Stranoparts dot com with stock springs, around 600 for the set.

Less money, but still a big improvement over worn stockers, SLP Bilsteins, about 400 the set.

Look, search. Read the stickies. This topic's been done a LOT of times.
