Default A couple of ?'s

Does quench play as an important role in a FI motor as then in a NA motor? Is .065 acceptable? That being, assuming .025 deck height and using a .040 gasket. This is what I need to get CR to 8.99.

.065" is at the outer limits of acceptability, IMO. Our 2-valve heads need their squish (or quench) zones to keep detonation down. I like to see quench around .040". If you can get it into the .050" range you'll be safer.
