Checking interest: Z28 200mph Overlay with Speedo Corrector Kit
Not sure if this has been posted yet but it's pretty intresting. I know alot of guys who wanted a 200mph cluster but the only place that does them only does them for the digi odometer clusters. Here's the guys post.

Anyway, I’m just checking if anyone would be interested in a 200mph conversion kit that includes a custom overlay and a speedo corrector for the 93-96 gauge cluster?
If interested, please check my post on the Impala SS forum and tell me what you think

hmm, i like the idea. i was planning on spending around $60 for the white overlay, so if i could get that (assuming it worked) for another $60 i would be down. ive only pegged mine once, but it looks cooler witht he 200mph on there

Sure! I wonder if I could do this for the digital (97+) gauges that can be done by the customer?
That would be cool having 200mph on the clock even though I'll never use those numbers.... well maybe just once.

I would definately be in. The other one out there is expensive (close to $300), you have to send your entire cluster off for someone to do it, and it has problems. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was reasonably priced.

Nevermind. I think he deleted it because of the odo issues. He's still looking for 3 people to join in though. Correct me if Im wrong but cant the VSS signal be manipulated through the PCM?

His problem wasnt the price, it was the method. He used a product to manipulate the VSS signal. The VSS signal is very important for our cars. It controls alot not to mention the odometer which is what scared some people away. I like his idea but I feel if he wouldve went into the computer, he couldve avoided worreing about the odo.
